Sinaia is home to the famous Peles Castle of Romania. It's a popular tourist and historical site. The 4th graders traveled there by train and spent a day in the small mountain town. Here are a few glimpses of what it was like!
Our Elementary students recently went on a field trip to Bucharest Botanical Garden, here in the city. Our students participate in trips that encourage understanding and learning about Romanian history and culture.
Our love is like a persistent mushroom It's steady look you cannot ever block A life without love leads only to doom In our love account there will always be stock
Even though my brain is small as a pebble My heart for you is as big as a moose If love was illegal, I'd be a rebel If I were a gander, you'd be my goose
I love you just like a fat guy loves fries For my wounded heart your love is a stitch You attract me like manure attracts flies Within your love is where I'll find my niche
Our love soars like a beautiful white dove Just don't burn this poem my dear only love
Ms. Opris' 4th graders made gifts for their moms last week. Being in a foreign land, we celebrate a variety of holidays. Mother's Day, a unique American invention, is not celebrated in Romania ...but that doesn't stop us!
Several BCA students were recently represented at an International Choir Festival in Budapest, Hungary. The link below will give you video of them. This is an external link, so we can't control the other content that might be there.
BCA recently held it's Elementary Spring Music Show where everyone showcased the fruit of their hard work ...particularly Ms. Westrum's hard work (THANKS!!). You see the Handbell Choir and the Recorders in Action.
BCA has a vibrant and exciting Boy Scout program. Here are the guys on a recent "Father and Son" campout! Some of the things they learned was how to use an ax and start a fire. They also practiced wilderness survival skills, such as how to get water from the ground and starting a fire without a match.
